Safari Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
In the morning, there will be a very short brief about the safari schedule, including the day’s plan for the game drive’s timings, what is to be seen, and places to visit. After this short briefing, you will start the trip to the Tarangire National Park. You will arrive after a 2-3 hours’ drive from Arusha. The park is one of the most attractive parks in Tanzania, with a river which is the primary source of fresh water for graminivores, carnivores and various other common local wildlife. During the annual dry season (June – November), all animals are congregated in the park for fresh water – and so you will witness high densities of elephants, thousands of zebras, wildebeest, Cape buffalo, as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, honey badgers, African wild dogs, waterbucks, giraffes, dik-diks, impalas, elands, grant gazelles, vervet monkeys, banded mongooses, olive baboons, and many others. What’s more, Tarangire National Park is a perfect place for bird-watchers with over 550 different bird species – including the Maasai Ostrich (the world largest bird).
Around afternoon, you will stop at a suitable picnic place to have lunch. Then you will continue with more of wildlife viewing and exploration of the beauty in Tarangire National Park, including its beautiful baobab trees, termite mounds, granitic ridges, river valleys, swamps, and many other natural attractions surrounding the area.
In the evening, before sunset, and after having an epic day full of enjoyment – the game drives, having seen a variety of flora and fauna, you will be driven to the safe campsite within park where you will have dinner and spend the night in the tents.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park– Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
In the morning, breakfast will be served early at the camping site, followed by a very short brief about your tour’s schedule then you will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park which is approximately one hour from the lodge. The park is well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake, thousands of pink flamingos, huge number of baboons and many other animals too. Lake Manyara is shallow and it’s alkaline which covers an area of 220 square kilometers which is two thirds of the park’s total surface area. Lake Manyara National Park has plenty of elephants, wildebeests along with so many giraffes, and buffaloes. Also, it’s surrounded by bands of mixed acacia woodlands and captivating evergreen forests. In the afternoon, you will stop for lunch break and provided lunch boxes and after continue to explore the beauty of Lake Manyara National Park.
In early evening, after enjoying yourself to the fullest, and seeing the beauty of Lake Manyara National Park – including its wildlife, the lake, birds and vegetation, you will be taken to Ngorongoro highlands situated on the crater’s edge, with magnificent views of the caldera below, where you will have dinner and camping overnight.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater Rim – Ngorongoro Crater – Mto Wa Mbu
In the morning, after having an adventurous night in the tents with the caldera in the view, breakfast will be served early at the camping site, followed by the short brief about your day’s schedule. Then you will travel down a precipitous trail into the crater. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. In the afternoon, while still being inside the crater, you will stop at a suitable place and be served a packed lunch before you continue with the adventure.
In the evening, after having a remarkable wildlife tour and seeing an array of bird species and other wild animals, will be taken to your campsite, which will be next to Mto wa Mbu. Here, you will watch the sun go down the gateway to unforgettable adventures and excursions.

Day 4
Mto wa Mbu – Arusha
In the morning, breakfast will be served early at the camping site, followed by a very short brief about your final tour’s schedule. Then your cultural tour trip will start at Mto wa Mbu. The place is thought to be one of the only places in Tanzania where there are representatives from all 120 tribes living together in harmony. You will be able to see their community, lifestyles, farms, milling machines, schools, markets, churches, a local bar, a wood workshop, and a youth art project where you will learn about the different indigenous painting styles and techniques. During lunch time, you will stop at a suitable place and be served a packed lunch before you continue with your journey.
In the late afternoon, you will be driven back to your hotel in Arusha, or to the Airport after the adventurous trip into three national parks, and having enjoyed an amazing experience – sleeping in safe tents surrounded by the beautiful sound of birds and the calming wind.
